A project from DRAW 101 [Drawing II: Composition and Media]  class at SCAD. We had to create a self-portrait with elements that signify our identity. I chose the guitar as a representation of my love for music. I enjoy playing this instrument as it is one of many ways I could calm myself and escape reality for a while. The pencil represents my passion for the arts and creativity. The fact that I'm still 'drawing' myself implies that my search for my identity is not finished yet. I'm still finding who I am in this journey we call life.
