INDONESIAN 3D ANIMATED SHORT FILM

Kaghati tells the story of a young girl who visits her grandfather's home in rural Indonesia for the first time.
Through the kite-maker's craft, she discovers a new way to connect with him and explore her cultural roots.

  • Co-directing (chp. 5)
This was my first time to co-direct a short! It was definitely a very rewarding learning experience.
  • Organizing stuff (chp. 3, 5, 9)
I like to keep things neat and tidy. Something about Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets excites me so much!
  • Animatic & Layout (chp. 6, 7)
I turned our storyboards into an animatic :) It was also my first time doing layout (previsualization)!!
All hands on deck! I got to model and UV unwrap some of the assets you'll see in the short film.
